Community Involvement Committee
Responsibilities: Summerfest (Director, Guidelines, Budget), Christmas Parade, Downtown Live, York Downtown Business Association, Senior Expo, Share the Knowledge Training Sessions (One per quarter), Employee Appreciation Luncheon
Economic Development Committee
Responsibilities: Meet with existing business/industry leaders, meet with potential business/industry leaders, liaison between businesses and government, develop strategy for recruiting industry, maintain relationship with York County Economic Development Board, maintain Economic Development materials on web site, maintain contact with area commercial realtors
Education Committee
Responsibilities: Teacher of the Year, Teacher Forum, Chamber Scholarship Program, York County Youth Leadership Program, School To Work, Mentor Program, Employability Skills Program, Technology Team Ambassadors
Government Liaison Committee
Responsibilities: Maintain relationship with York County government, maintain relationship with City of York government, Leadership York County, York County Day, York County Council of Chambers, political forum, Government Task Force
Membership Committee
Responsibilities: Annual membership campaign, assist with membership directory, promote member events, identify Business of the Month, promote Business After Hours /Business Before Hours (One per month) and solicit BAH/BBH hosts, assist with Membership Luncheons (One per quarter), identify program topics and speakers
