Moonlight Bike Ride

      The Moonlight Bike Ride is sponsored by the 
    York County Office of Emergency Management, 
    York County Public Safety Communications, 
    and the York Rescue Squad.

    The 14th annual bike ride is a fun-filled family 
    event for all ages that winds through the 
    streets of beautiful, historic downtown York 
    beginning at 8:30 PM, Friday, August 23rd. 

There is no fee to participate and everyone is invited to ride.  Interested riders should meet at the Agricultural Building parking lot on South Congress Street at 8 p.m. 

The York Rescue Squad serves individually wrapped ice cream treats at the end of the ride.

Cotton Howell of the York County Office of Emergency Management said the Moonlight Bike Ride has become a popular event over the years.  “This is a leisurely bike ride through York and we have never been rained out,” Howell said.
