Inside the historic Sylvia Theatre on North Congress Street, Interstate 107 Texaco Country Showdown returns to Summerfest for 2011. 

 

Sponsored by Texaco, Interstate 107 Radio, and the Greater York Chamber of Commerce, singers will vie for cash and prizes and the opportunity to compete in the national talent search and to possibly win $100,000.

The winner of Saturday's Showdown receives cash and other prizes and advances to compete against 11 other acts at the South Carolina and North Carolina Finals held at the South Carolina State Fair in Columbia, SC on October 22, 2011.
